Dominic Chew is an expert on
international logistics including shipping, distribution, and supply chain
management. As the the head of Dynasty's logistics practice, Mr. Chew advises the senior management of Asian conglomerates who
are interested in opportunities in new markets.
Mr. Chew is veteran
entrepreneur having founded several logistics-related companies. He is the
founder, President and Chief Executive Officer of United American Holdings, LLC
("UAH"), an international trading company and CEEKA International, LLC, the
exclusive importer and distributor in North America of
Tiger Beer, a premium lager having won more than 30 International Gold
Medals. Mr. Chew was also a founding member of a Silicon Valley based
biometrics company, whose technology became an important component of NASA
subsystems.
Prior to starting UAH
in 1994, Mr. Chew held executive positions with Singapore-based
Neptune Orient Lines ("NOL"), now one of the three largest container shipping company in
the world after the acquisition of American President Lines. At NOL, he supervised all the marketing, sales and operations of
NOL's US subsidiary, Tricom Shipping Agencies, Inc., which had annual sales of
approximately $350 million.
Mr. Chew has also
consulted with a number of Asian and American enterprises including a key
project with China Welfare Enterprises ("CWE"). A native of Singapore, Mr. Chew is currently based in the
San Francisco Bay Area.
