MORAGA, CALIF. – September 15, 2005 - An educational leader in the field of venture finance, entrepreneurship and Asia-Pacific relationships, the University of San Francisco has established the New Venture Center to enable students to gain access to and advice from seasoned and successful entrepreneurs. One such entrepreneur invited to participate was Dynasty’s Chairman Randolph Tom. Mr. Tom enthused, “I am delighted to be so closely involved with a program, such as the one offered by USF, that is a leader in supporting and nurturing entrepreneurship among new entrepreneurs.”

Prof. Mark V. Cannice, Ph.D., the Executive Director of the USF Entrepreneurship Program, said, "The USF Entrepreneurship Program is delighted to host Mr. Tom as a Visiting Entrepreneurial Executive in Residence. In this role he will counsel graduate and undergraduate students individually and in small groups, as well as give classroom lectures in the business school. His insight and experience in venture investing will bring a very important dimension to the entrepreneurial educational offering we provide at USF. Again, we are most grateful to Mr. Tom and other executives like him who graciously give of their time and talent to help educate a future generation of entrepreneurial leaders."

Honored by this appointment, Mr. Tom is looking forward to sharing his wisdom with future generations. Mr. Tom said, “I believe that it is important that a unique program such as the Entrepreneurship Program offered at USF should be supported by successful entrepreneurs and professionals. I am pleased to be able to share my experience in venture capital and corporate finance matters through personal meetings with students, as well as through my guest lecture appearances at the university.”
